Considerations for Giving the Gift of Jewelry to a Young Person

I was getting ready to Buy Fashion jewelry at goldsea24.com/en when I stopped to consider my approach to making the right selection. I was looking for a gift for a couple of wonderful nieces. One was turning 16 soon and the other 18. With special occasions such as milestone birthdays or school graduations, jewelry can sometimes be the perfect gift for a young person. However, to get the most fitting gift, I realized there are some considerations to be made. One thing to reflect upon, for example, is whether or not you would like this gift to be a keepsake or heirloom. If so, then it's best to go with a timeless design. Current or modern is fine, just not overly trendy in this instance. Another consideration is, of course, the recipient's taste. For example, if choosing a chain and pendant for a young lady, it's important to reflect on whether she would like a piece with some weight to it, such a thicker chain and larger pendant, or a more delicate chain with a dainty pendant. In case you're not confident about such considerations, either ask someone who knows the young person's likes and dislikes, or else pick out a classic, simple design…which, of course, does not mean boring!…just something that will go well with many things and have lasting appeal.

Designer Fashion Wear Jumpsuits

A new fashion wear trend is slowly emerging in 2012. The old school jumpsuits are back and are bigger than ever. Making the mark are timeless celebrities who have worn jumpsuits in concerts, performances and at events. This trend is moving towards mainstream fashion for women and can be found in a range of clothing stores for youth.

Phoebe Philo is a London-based designer who is all about achieving the impossible in designer fashion, like making the jumpsuit attractive. First, the Celine designer made a name for herself with her focus on menswear-inspired trousers, and now she is standing out again with her take on jumpsuit. When Philo wore a jumpsuit of her own design to claim her Designer of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards, she attracted more attention by far then any of the other overdressed attendees.

While it wouldn't be accurate to say that London shops are full of jumpsuits this year, they are certainly out there as a major trend thanks to Philo. Editors at Vogue are loving Whistles' loveheart printed jumpsuit in tan, and River Island can't keep its polka-dot jumpsuit on the shelves. There is no greater evidence that 70's fashion is making a comeback, for better or worse.

Youth Fashion in Nigeria

Youth fashion in Nigeria is all about wearing the craziest clothes and having fun with wild combinations. Students like Aderonke Adedeji at the University of Lagos enjoy dressing outrageously because it makes her stand out and she said it makes her feel like a celebrity.

Looking outrageous is clearly the new style that is in vogue in Nigeria as young people will go to great length to copy their favorite celebrity looks. Chinasa Okoye, the owner of the Sleek Look Salon in Lagos , has been doing great business in colored hair attachments lately. She doesn't really understand why the young women are desperate to get their hands on these hair crazy hair extensions, but is happy to provide a service that allows them to express themselves in a way that makes them happy.
